1. The official start time is at 7.30pm but we ask everyone to arrive for 7pm. This will give you ample time to get yourself a drink and settle in. Please be ready to show us a copy of your ticket confirmation email either printed out or on your phone.
2. When you arrive a friendly host will be there to meet you. They will sign you in, give you a name badge and explain the evening to you. At this point you will also receive a scorecard to keep track of all the new people you have met.
3. When it is time to start we will guide everyone to their seat. Women will then stay in the same seat for the whole night and the gentlemen will rotate clockwise.
4. Each date will last for 3 minutes so make sure you spend them wisely. When you hear the bell to signal the end of the date, it's time to move on to the next one. We understand that you might have just met the potential love of your life but it’s really important to move on to your next date at this point. There will plenty of time to mingle at the end over a drink.
5. Halfway through we will have a 15- 20 minute interval. This gives
everyone a chance to look over their scorecards and to get a drink, leaving you refreshed for your next dates.
6. At the end of the evening everyone is invited to stay for a few drinks to finish the night in style.
7. Before you leave we will collect your scorecards. Within the next 48 hours we will contact you to let you know who your matches are.
What to expect on the night
We know it can be slightly daunting going to your first speed-dating event, but there really is no reason to be nervous. After attending one of our events you will wonder why you waited so long.
